The movie adaptation of the 1975 play sees several women battling their own personal demons.

AceShowbiz - The first trailer of "For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf" has been released via Yahoo! Movies. It offers previews to several different women with their own conflicts which sometimes involve people around them.

"For Colored Girls" is Tyler Perry's latest directed-movie after "Madea Goes to Jail", "Why Did I Get Married Too?" and several others. The upcoming film is based on a 1975 play which features a series of 20 poems telling stories of love, abandonment, domestic abuse and other issues faced by black women.

"For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf" has a star-studded cast ensemble which consists of Janet Jackson, Thandie Newton, Whoopi Goldberg, Phylicia Rashad, Kimberly Elise, Kerry Washington, Loretta Devine, Anika Noni Rose and many more. This drama is set for November 5 release in the U.S.
