While playing their own version of 3D chess, Sheldon asks Leonard the possibility of them knowing the show's move from Mondays to Thursdays.

AceShowbiz - CBS has an interesting way to remind fans of "The Big Bang Theory" that the show has been moved from Mondays to Thursdays. The announcement is incorporated as a scene between Sheldon and Leonard where the former asks a hypothetical question about whether or not they would know about the change if they were TV series characters.

"Big Bang Theory", which recently took an honor at the Emmys through Jim Parsons, will premiere the fourth season on September 23. Called "The Robotic Manipulation", the episode will see Penny finding herself along for the ride on Sheldon's first date ever and Wolowitz finding a new use for a robotic arm.

Mayim Bialik returns as Sheldon's love interest, Amy. "The first date with Mayim is really a riveting success for Sheldon and her character Amy," Parsons told EW. "The one who pays the price is Penny. I won't say exactly how. I mean, really because at this point we're still getting to know the character of Amy and she's still very similar to Sheldon. That's a lot of what we're seeing still. So basically [Penny's] dealing with sort of two Sheldons and that's painful for her."

Beside Bialik, the new season will see the return of Sheldon's nemesis Wil Wheaton who plays the evil version of himself as well as Laurie Metcalf aka Sheldon's mom.
