Titled 'the Axe-Man', the scene which is introduced by director Paul W.S. Anderson takes place in a shower room and sees Alice as well as Claire fighting the masked character.

AceShowbiz - New scenes from "Resident Evil: Afterlife" have been previewed to some people in London during a short screening at Sony Pictures on Monday, August 23. The footage, presented in 3-D, sees a battle scene involving Alice, Claire and Executioner Majini, which appears in "Resident Evil 5" video game.

While the video has not been available for viewing pleasure, Obsessed With Film and Den of Geek have described the footage. The footage, titled "the Axe-Man", is set in a shower room where Alice, Claire and two big, beefy soldiers try to "escort a weedy, Chinese scientist out of some kind of ravaged city through a sewer." Suddenly the Executioner attacks with his huge axe, splitting one of the men in two.

Alice attempts to usher the scientist out while Claire keeps the Executioner busy. As he stalks his victims, he chops off the showerheads and water cascades everywhere like rain falling from the sky. The battle continues until Claire shoots him in the head. When Claire thinks she is safe, the Excutioner recovers and hurl his axe towards her. Alice quickly grabs her and they duck under the axe while Alice blows his head with a shotgun.

"Resident Evil: Afterlife" sees Milla Jovovich reprising her role as Alice who continues on her journey to find survivors and lead them to safety in a world ravaged by a virus infection, where its victims are turned into the Undead. Her deadly battle with the Umbrella Corporation reaches new heights, but she gets some unexpected help from an old friend.

Ali Larter also returns as Claire Redfield with Wentworth Miller cast as her brother, Chris Redfield. Paul W.S. Anderson still tackles the helming duty for the fourth installment of "Resident Evil" film series, which is slated to come out in theaters across the nation on September 10.
