Pics: 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' Season 5 Premiere

Kim Kardashian sported a new hairdo, Kourtney went simple with little black dress, while Khloe was absent from the event.

The season finale of "Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami" earlier this month is immediately followed by the season premiere of "". changes her persona as a Miami resident to be part of a large family at the premiere party held at Trousdale, Los Angeles.

, her husband and the little Kardashians were not seen in attendance of the August 19 event. Khloe was in fact in Madrid, Spain to support Lamar at Basketball World Championship. "So sad that I'm missing the Keeping Up viewing party tonight at Trousdale!!!! My whole family is going to be there :(," she wrote on Twitter.

But, a number of celebrities and E! personalities came to support the event. Fellow reality show star kept her distance close to pal all night long. There were also "" star , actress , E!'s reporter Ben Lyons and the Kardashians' PR Simon Huck.

The fifth season goes on air August 22 at 10/9c. Kim did an interview with Celebuzz, teasing about the new season and saying, "We are all in really different places than where we were last season. Kourtney has Mason, I move in to my own house, and of course this is the first season where I'm single... so with that comes some surprises!"
