Raekwon Confirms Project With Justin Bieber and Kanye West, Heading to Studio

The Wu-Tang Clan member who is heading to studio for a recording session with Kanye West says he will play a big brother for Justin Bieber and gives the assistance his junior needs.

AceShowbiz - The recent Twitter conversation among Justin Bieber, Kanye West and Raekwon about a possible collaboration is not just an idle talk. The Wu-Tang Clan star has confirmed the project, saying "It's definitely gonna happen."

In an interview with XXL magazine, he explained further, "When you got these kinda talents merging together to do something exciting, I think it's something that's gonna make the fans check it out." He additionally declared his love for both Kanye and Justin.

"I think, at the end of the day, shorty [Justin] is a sensation. And [for him] to acknowledge me it makes me feel good that the young generation is checkin' me out like that. And at the same time it gives me a position to play a big brother in the game. He wants my assistance or whatever he can get it. I respect him, I like his style."

Recalling how the project was put together, Raekwon said it's all started with a phone call from Kanye. And he is adamant the collaboration will be a hit, saying "Justin got his own fan base and Me and Yeezy got our own fan base and we gon' make it happen. We gon' make a good record."

Following the confirmation to the publication, Raekwon wrote on Twitter that he is heading to studio for a recording session with Kanye West. He posted in a series of messages, "Yall asked for it now we're gonna deliver!... Just got off the plane, then dropping my bags off then shooting to the studio to get up wit @kanyewest!"

Kanye, meanwhile, posted, "Raekwon coming to the studio later 2day... Calling J[ay] Electronica.... Me, Mos [Def] and Rae in the studio waiting !!!!!!!!" As for Bieber, he simply re-tweeted Raekwon interview with XXL magazine.
