Winners List of 2010 Imagen Awards in Movie: Benjamin Bratt's 'La Mission' Wins Big

The drama flick grabbed three kudos during the August 15 gala, with other winners in movie categories including 'City Island' and 'This Is It'.

The 25th annual Imagen Awards, held to present positive portrayals of Latinos and Latino culture in entertainment, has announced its winners on Sunday, August 15. And Bratt brothers were coming home victorious as their movie "" won three out of seven kudos in movie categories.

The indie flick snatched the coveted prize of Best Feature Film, beating out "", "" and "". The Peter Bratt-directed drama also helped lead actor to get Best Actor title. The last kudo got by "La Mission" was Best Supporting Actor for Jeremy Ray Valdez.

also had a thing to celebrate that night since she was honored with Best Actress award for her role in "Backyard". Meanwhile, Best Supporting Actress gong went to Dominik Garcia-Lorido of "".

The other winners in movie categories included Kenny Ortega who was chosen as Best Director for his work in documentary "", and "Taught To Hate" which was named Best Theatrical Short or Student Film.

This year Imagen Awards which took place in Los Angeles, California, had and her director fiance Ryan Riers-Williams among the attendees. Though their film "The Dry Land" did not manage to win any prize, the "" actress did not go home empty handed as she took Best Actress prize in TV category.
