AceShowbiz - Sneak peeks for upcoming movies "True Grit" and "Hereafter (2010)" have been obtained in form of stills. The first official picture for "True Grit" which also appears on EW magazine captures Jeff Bridges and Hailee Steinfeld, while the image for "Hereafter" gives the official first look at Matt Damon and Bryce Dallas Howard.
"True Grit" is coming from filmmaker brothers, Ethan and Joel Coen. Slated to come out in the U.S. exactly on Christmas Day or December 25, this drama adventure movie follows a 14-year-old girl who, along with an aging U.S. marshal and another lawman, tracks her father's killer in hostile Indian territory.
"Hereafter", in the meantime, is directed by Clint Eastwood with the script provided by Peter Morgan. It tells the story of three people who are touched by death in different ways. Each on a path in search of the truth, their lives will intersect, forever changed by what they believe might-or must-exist in the hereafter. The supernatural thriller is due October 22 for U.S. release.
