He is not only a Facebook fan but also officially becomes a Twitterer, already drawing more than 140,000 followers in less than 24 hours.

AceShowbiz - Kanye West has made amends with Twitter after backlashing it last year and telling everyone that he was too busy to join the social network. Following his freestyle performance at Facebook headquarters, the rap mogul jumped to the Bluebird-symbolized micro-blogging site to open a new account.

The outspoken rapper posted messages under the name @kanyewest which is already verified and has around 140,000 followers by Wednesday night, July 28. Beside thanking fans for following him, he also wrote, "The album is no longer called 'Good Ass Job' I'm bouncing a couple of titles around now."

On his own blog meanwhile, Kanye West thanked Facebook employers for having him earlier this week. He stated, "Many times in life I've had to deal with moments of doubt. And as it's been a minute since I've performed any fresh material in front of an audience, this could've been one of those moments... but it wasn't."

"Your energy was a gift so electric, so genuine, that it really helped me give my best. The energy was so inspiring I had to keep going! I just hope you got as much from me as I got from you...which was everything! Love to all my fans, especially at Facebook."
