'True Blood' and 'Hung' August 1 Previews

Sookie discovers her hand can eject light and force while battling Lorena on 'Blood' and Jessica gets awkward time with her daughter on 'Hung'.

"Everything ends, you know the immortals," Eric says in the latest promo of "" while Bill is caught under the sun but not burnt. Expect a major game changer in the episode called "Hitting the Ground" since Sookie will also display her hidden power which is stored in her right hand.

Imperiled by Lorena, Sookie goes to extremes in her attempt to save Bill - with unforeseen consequences. Sam infiltrates a dogfighting ring to extricate Tommy from his parents' greedy influence. Jason heads to jail to uncover the truth about Crystal; Summer makes a home-cooked play for Hoyt's affections; Debbie vows revenge on Alcide; Eric uses Hadley as bait to get information from Sophie-Anne; Russell turns his back on the Authority, and on the Magister.

Meanwhile on "", Jessica gets awkward with her kids when one of the twins said they saw her naked. In the episode called "A Man, a Plan or Thank You, Jimmy Carter", Tanya lands an important client for Ray; Damon's emergency threatens to derail Ray's date; Ray promotes Mike to co-manager of the baseball team; Jessica is annoyed with Ronnie.

The new episodes of "True Blood" and "Hung" air on Sunday, August 1 on HBO.
