Movie

In addition to the trailer, Overture Films presented two exclusive scenes from the horror film during the presentation.

AceShowbiz - Among some panels for superhero movies at San Diego Comic Con International on July 24, there was a panel for horror film "Let Me In". Attended by director Matt Reeves and cast members Kodi Smit-McPhee, Chloe Moretz as well as Richard Jenkins, the panel showed two clips.

The first one follows Owen and Abby at a convenience store. Owen offers Abby some candies and she takes one before vomiting outside the store. The two then share a tender moment as Owen gives her a hug and Abby asks him if he likes her.

The second clip features Abby's father, played by Jenkins, who wants to capture a boy so that Abby can have something to drink. But when the boy picks up a friend and makes a stop at a gas station, he decides to attack the passenger and steal the car. In a moment of panic, his car accidentally gets hit and rolls into a ditch. As help arises, he reaches into his backpack and douses his own face with a canister of acid so as not to be identified.

In addition to the two clips, Overture Films has released a domestic trailer during Comic Con. The video, which has made its way out via MTV Movies Blog, starts with scenes which have been seen in the international trailer. It then gives away more footage which highlight the relationship between Owen and Abby and how Elias Koteas' character investigates the mysterious killings in their town.

"Let Me In" is a remake of Swedish film "Let the Right One In (2008)" which was based on John Ajvide Lindqvist's novel "Lat den Ratte Komma In". The upcoming movie will come out in the U.S. on October 1.
