A prequel movie for 'Notice' was confirmed, the fate of Kate on 'Collar' was discussed and the future guest stars on 'Psych' were revealed.

AceShowbiz - USA Network was one of the firsts to hold a panel at the first day of San Diego Comic Con this year. "Burn Notice" kicked off the network's presentation at 1 P.M., revealing that a stand-alone movie will be created and centering on Bruce Campbell's Sam Axe.

USA exec Jeff Eastin said Campbell will be producing the "action-packed" TV movie which is made as a prequel explaining what happened to Axe and how he ended up retired and in Miami. "We learn a little more about the guy, and we get to see Sam Axe in action with guns. And I'm hoping you're OK with this, but I'm thinking about putting a chainsaw in your hand," creator Matt Nix said to Campbell.

Nix also made use of the occasion to announce that this season's viewers can look forward to watching episodes that feature individual narrations from each character, Bruce, Sam or Fiona. Talking about Fiona further, Campbell revealed, "There's an episode coming up when Fiona gets kidnapped."

Over at "White Collar" panel, things were milder with fewer cast in presence. Willie Garson who stars in the show became the moderator, shooting Eastin, who is the producer, a question about season 1 cliffhanger. "Kate's plane blew up. Is she dead?" Garson asked, cheered by the audience. Instead of giving direct answer for the character which is not loved by the audience, Eastin wanted a show of hands who vote she's dead, alive or in a coma. Most of them voted for dead.

Another highlight is the explanation of Tiffani-Amber Thiessen's maternity leave that affected the show's first six seasons. It turned out that the cast and crew shoot in New York while Thiessen was stuck in L.A. and had to do her stunt on green screen.

Meanwhile, "Psych" was more cheerful with the surprise acoustic performance by Tears for Fears' Curt Smith, the series stars Dule Hill and James Roday as well as tap dance by Jason Samuels Smith and Hill. During the Q & A, creator Steve Frank emphasized once again that a movie is possible if the demand is there.

While jokes and unrelated questions appeared now and then, exec producer Chris Henze preferred to spill a little detail about Juliet and Shawn's romance. He said the guest starring appearance of Nestor Carbonell will shake up a little bit the on-off couple's relationship. Other guests are Adam Rodriguez, Franka Potente, Vanessa Minnillo and Chi McBride. Roday will also sit as a director in an episode.
