Walt Disney Pictures gives a surprise to attendees at their Comic Con panel on Thursday, July 22 by showing a clip for "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides". Though it does not give any glimpse of scene from the upcoming film since it is still shooting in Hawaii, the video is quite entertaining with an appearance of Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow.

Sitting on a chair and holding a bottle of rum, the pirate tries to assure the audience that he would not soon be embarking on a quest to find the fountain of youth as he is rumored but, even if he were, he wouldn't be looking for a crew. However, he then goes on mentioning that such adventure would include the likes of "zombies, cutthroats, mermaids and... Penelope Cruz" and would require "a bloody map. Or a bloody Mary. Or both."

In addition to Johnny Depp, another original cast member who will return to "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is Geoffrey Rush who portrays Barbossa. Meanwhile, Penelope Cruz is hired to play Jack Sparrow's love interest. Rob Marshall serves behind the lens for this fourth installment of the action comedy film franchise, which is slated for May 20, 2011 U.S. release.
