The Disney beauty, who will turn 18 on July 22, will celebrate her big day in 'a big BBQ bash' with '250 of her closest friends and family' coming over to the occasion.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez might not have a low key festive occasion to celebrate her 18th birthday as her mother recently revealed that a "big" party has been planned. The Disney star's mother, Mandy Teefy, dished out details of the upcoming birthday celebration to Just Jared Jr.
"We're throwing her a big BBQ bash," Mandy gushed. She then disclosed the number of guests who are expected to show up at the party, sharing "250 of her closest friends and family are coming over to our place in L.A. and it's going to be so much fun."
"We're ordering the BBQ meats but I'm cooking the cheese potatoes," Mandy added. The bash will be completed with a karaoke station set-up and tons of food. The site also mentioned that since Selena is from Texas, the party is hoped to make the "Wizards of Waverly Place" star feel right at home.
However, Selena fans' apparently couldn't wait to wish her a happy birthday even before the big day itself. On Sunday, July 18, the "Round & Round" singer wrote on her Twitter page, "Went to dinner with my family and some fans sang happy birthday to me! What an awesome early birthday gift :) thank you."
