David Fincher's 'The Goon' Debuts Teaser Trailer

Check out the first sneak peek video from the animated comedy before more footage are presented during 'The Goon' panel at San Diego Comic Con.

AceShowbiz - "The Goon", which will have a panel at forthcoming San Diego Comic Con, has been previewed even before the convention begins. A teaser trailer for this animation has been released via MTV Splash Page, giving a look at how the film will present jokes in a "dark" way.

Produced by David Fincher and written by Eric Powell, the upcoming feature film is based on a comic book series by Powell of the same title. Official synopsis for the 2011 comedy movie has not been released but it will follow the adventures of a muscle-bound brawler who claims to be the primary enforcer for a feared mobster.

The stories are said having a paranormal and comedic edge to them and concern ghosts, zombies, mad scientists and "skunk apes." More footage from the movie will debut at Comic Con during the film presentation on Friday, July 23 at 6:00 P.M. in Room 24ABC. MTV Splash Page additionally reports that David Fincher and Paul Giamatti, who voices Frankie in the movie, will attend the panel.
