Michael Fassbender's 'Centurion' Unleashes New Trailer

At the time when war seemingly has no end, Roman centurion Quintus Dias leads a group of soldiers to rescue a captured general and promises to bring his soldiers home.

AceShowbiz - A new trailer for "Centurion" has made its way out via Apple. Teasing through some battle scenes from the movie, the video also features narration from Michael Fassbender's Quintus Dias who explains his journey until how he is determined to lead his soldiers home after his general is captured.

The film is set during the war between Roman soldiers and Pict tribesmen during the 2nd century Roman conquest of Britain. Dias, Roman centurion and son of a legendary gladiator who leads a group of soldiers hunted by a seemingly unstoppable group of the Pict's most vicious and skilled warriors, led by a beautiful and deadly tracker.

Neil Marshall, the man behind "The Descent" and "Doomsday", serves as director for this historical thriller. In addition to Michael Fassbender, the film has such actors as Dominic West, Olga Kurylenko and Noel Clarke among cast members. This R-rated action drama is going to hit limited U.S. cinemas on August 27.
