A spokesperson for the rocker is adamant that the recent leg injury will not affect Bon Jovi's remaining summer dates.

AceShowbiz - Jon Bon Jovi recently suffered a torn calf muscle on stage. The Bon Jovi frontman limped during a final set of the band's concert at New Jersey's New Meadowlands Stadium. The rocker, who often jumps up and down during his concerts, injured himself reportedly when singing "Glad All Over".

"My calf muscle just blew out," he told keyboardist David Bryan. Despite the injury, Bon Jovi managed to continue with another song to close the entire concert. The vocalist even laughed at himself, telling the crowd "I'm old, what can I tell you."

"Near the end of Bon Jovi's two-and-a-half hour show at New Meadowlands Stadium on Friday night, Jon Bon Jovi sustained a torn calf muscle," a spokesperson for the 48-year-old singer said in a statement. "Jon made light of the injury and went on to close the show with their anthemic hit, 'Living on a Prayer'."

"The band ended the night together, thanking the capacity home-town crowd, and assisting Jon off the stage. The injury will not prevent Bon Jovi from playing any of their upcoming stadium dates this summer."
