The 'Love Sex Magic' hitmaker is back to basic, ditching her seductive look and giving an expressionless face and one-eye stare in the artwork.

AceShowbiz - Ciara keeps it simple with a close-up shot in "Basic Instint" cover art. Her face is expressionless and her hair is let loose to the left side, covering one eye and giving a glance at some fine accessories on her neck.
Produced by Christopher "Tricky" Stewart and The-Dream, "Basic Instinct" is planned to hit the U.S. market on August 17. At least two songs, Ludacris-assisted single "Ride" and dance track "Gimme That", have been embraced by music fans.
"Ride" performed well on Billboard chart. It managed to climb to No. 9 on R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list despite lack of promotion as the music video was deemed too sexual and snubbed by BET. "Gimme That" which came out earlier this week was also well received.
