'The Green Hornet' Gets International Trailer

The trailer has more scenes showing The Green Hornet and Kato going for actions on the street, but lacks humor.

An international trailer for "" has been made available for viewing pleasure. Though shorter than the first full trailer, the newly-released video still manages to include some fresh footage, mostly highlighting Britt Reid who has turned into The Green Hornet and, joined by Kato, hit the streets. However, this international trailer reduces the preview to the funny moments.

Britt Reid is a rich man who spends his life partying and hooking up with girls. After his father dies mysteriously, he meets Kato who has enormous resource of weapons. Realizing that he has not done anything good in his life, Reid who inherits his father's empire of Los Angeles' largest newspaper decides to play hero to save his city.

Armed with advanced retro weaponry, The Black Beauty, an indestructible car equal parts firepower and horsepower, Britt and Kato pose as villains in order to get close with the real bad guys. With the help of Britt's new secretary Lenore Case, they learn that the chief criminal in the city is Benjamin Chudnofsky.

takes the lead role, teaming up with who plays Kato. joins as Lenore Case while portrays the main villainous character. Michel Gondry serves as director for this action superhero movie, which is slated for January 14, 2011 release in the U.S.
