The 'Easy A' star dropped the bomb on June 19 via her Twitter, starting with her tweet which read, 'Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem.'

AceShowbiz - Amanda Bynes has made her Twitter page some sort of news headline. On Saturday, June 19, the actress announced that she has quit appearing in front of cameras, tweeting "I don't love acting anymore so I've stopped doing it."

"Being an actress isn't as fun as it may seem... If I don't love something anymore I stop doing it," she additionally laid the ground on her decision. Affirming that she is sure about what she stated, Bynes further wrote, "I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I've retired."

Bynes grew up on Nickelodeon shows, including "All That" and "The Amanda Show", before moving to big screen. She made her film debut in 2002 "Big Fat Liar" in which she starred opposite Frankie Muniz. After some lead roles in films such as "What a Girl Wants" and "She's the Man", she landed supporting roles in "Hairspray" and "Easy A".
