Premiere Date for 'The Green Hornet' Trailer Revealed

The first full-length trailer for the Seth Rogen's movie will be debuted on TV show 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' June 21.

AceShowbiz - It won't be long until people get the first official sneak peek to "The Green Hornet". According to IGN, the first trailer for the movie will be premiered on Monday, June 21 during TV program "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on ABC. Additionally, Seth Rogen who stars as the title character and directs the film will also appear on the talk show.

In related news, IGN has been informed by Sony that "The Green Hornet" banner which was displayed at Licensing International Expo and snapped by a Comic Book Movie scooper is not the official teaser poster for the film. It was made by the Licensing Expo using official assets for the film. Moreover, any footage shown during the event was not the official trailer from the movie.

"The Green Hornet" is an adaptation of WXYZ's radio show created by George W. Trendle and Fran Striker. It centers on Britt Reid, a newspaper publisher by day and masked vigilante Green Hornet by night, and his adventures in fighting crimes.

Co-starring Seth Rogen are Cameron Diaz and Jay Chou. The action superhero flick is slated to hit U.S. theaters on January 14, 2011, moved back about a month from the original December 22 slot to get 3-D treatment.
