Coming to Comic Con: 'True Blood', 'Glee' and Surprisingly, 'Sons of Anarchy'

This year's convention of San Diego Comic Con will be more liberal in the genre term with the addition of 'Sons of Anarchy' as well as some crime drama series.

AceShowbiz - "True Blood", "Glee", "Terra Nova", "Sons of Anarchy" and "Dexter" are among the shows which have just been confirmed to have a panel at the upcoming San Diego Comic Con. While "True Blood", "Glee" and "Dexter" are familiar faces at the annual convention, it is the first time for "Terra" and "Anarchy".

"Terra" is the project by Steven Spielberg which has been picked up by FOX. Since the status is still very early and the production won't start by the time the July 22-25 event takes place, it is curious what kind of footage the panel will debut. FOX has also added another show into its panel, "Bob's Burgers", which will join other animated shows like "The Simpsons".

Over at NBC's, the network will promote its new series "The Cape" and "The Event", which have been reserved for Fall premiere, apart from its main attraction "Chuck". ABC, having lost its biggest panel with the end of "Lost", is pushing "V" and another sci-fi series "No Ordinary Family". Surprisingly, there will also be a panel of crime drama series "Castle".

The CW is happily boasting its hit series "The Vampire Diaries" and "Smallville", the latter which will end in Fall. "Nikita", a new show from the network, will also make its debut at the event. CBS still relies on "The Big Bang Theory" to attract fanboys out there but it also hopes for the same thing for its new kid "Hawaii Five-O". Although it's a cop drama, "Five-O" has former "Lost" and "Star Trek" stars as well as Alex Kutrzman and Bob Orci in the production.

"Dexter" as usual is expected to introduce its new major character, in this case being Julia Stiles'. No other show from Showtime has been scheduled so far. Meanwhile, FX is attempting to boost the rating of "Anarchy" with the Comic Con debut despite its drama genre.

The list below is in accordance to THR's list and will be more populated in the next few weeks leading to the date-by-date announcement.
