AceShowbiz - The news of Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt's split may as well be a clever marketing strategy to promote Heidi's new reality show. With "The Hills" coming to an end, Heidi has been brewing a new TV show called "The Heidi Show" which will focus solely on her and BFF Jennifer Bunney.
Just a day after the headlines were filled with the report on Heidi separating from her husband, the details of "Heidi Show" start to spring up. As Jen previously hinted, the show will see Heidi moving in with her in a Malibu beach house and having fun together as "single" girls. Curiously, the show will be produced by Spencer's production company, Pratt Production.
Although Heidi's rep confirmed the split to Us Magazine and the reality star said it was "100|percent| not a publicity stunt", Heidi was pictured over the Memorial weekend still wearing her huge wedding bling. Her sister Holly Montag additionally tweeted that the break up is a "big fat lie". It is also to be noted that Speidi is not filing for divorce yet.
Heidi originally was due to film a reality show with Spencer, having the cameras following them while, ironically, they are away from the cameras. However, there was apparently a change of plan because according to X17's source, "Spencer's a loose cannon and Heidi wants to make sure that her marriage is based on love and not centered on fake reality TV life."
Jennifer has since been recruited to take Spencer's place and thus change the format. In doing her part, Jen allegedly had been "trying to whore herself out to get noticed." That is by leaking information that Speidi is heading to Splitsville.
