The runner-up of 'American Idol' season 9 says that she hasn't inked any deal because 'there are a lot of details to be worked out.'

AceShowbiz - Crystal Bowersox denied previous report suggesting she has inked a joint deal with 19 Recordings Limited and Jive Records. "I haven't signed anything," this season's runner-up of "American Idol" told Toledo Free Press in a phone interview.

"Unless it's something I don't have a choice in, I haven't signed anything," she explained further before adding that "there are a lot of details to be worked out." But luckily for her and the other "Idol" contestants as they "have a lot of help" in negotiating the myriad proposals and legalities of contracts.

In the meantime, Crystal said she is busy preparing for the "Idol" annual tour which is usually kicked off in summer. "I am ready to get to work," she gushed, referring that she is ready not only to hit the road but also to craft songs for her debut album. Although she plans to write her own songs, this mother of one son is "open to working with other writers."

While waiting for the tour to begin and the album to hit the market, music lovers can purchase Crystal Bowersox's cover version of Patty Griffin's "Up to the Mountain" on iTunes where they can also download her "Idol" pal Lee DeWyze's rendition of U2's "Beautiful Day".
