M.I.A.'s New Song 'XXXO' Comes Out

The fresh song reportedly serves as the lead single of M.I.A.'s new studio album which is expected to be released in July.

A brand new material from has made its debut on BBC Radio 1. The track titled "XXXO" reportedly is released as the first official single of her forthcoming studio album which will come out later this year.

Earlier last month, M.I.A. set tongues wagging after premiering a not-safe-for-work music video for a song called "Born Free". Directed by Romain Gavras, the video follows a group of U.S. soldiers who invade a town and hunt down readheads to be massacred on the desert.

M.I.A. hasn't announced working title and exact release date for the upcoming release, but rumor suggests she will drop the effort in July. Before the album hits the stores, fans can expect the arrival of "XXXO" music video which will be filmed sometime soon with Hype Williams serving behind the lens.
