Maroon 5 to Release New Album 'Hands All Over' This September

Lady Antebellum are confirmed as a featured guest in the album which is plotted to come out on September 21.

AceShowbiz - Maroon 5 have been readying their third studio album. It's called "Hands All Over" and scheduled to be released in the United States on September 21 with its new materials to be previewed during the band's upcoming tour which will begin on July 31 in Saratoga.

The album is worked on with the help from producer Mutt Lange. It is "kind of hearkens back to the spirit behind the first record (Songs About Jane) and is less like the second one (It Won't Be Soon Before Long) - or is a combination of both, the best elements of both all in one," frontman Adam Levine told Billboard.

"He thinks huge; he wants to reach everybody in every country. He doesn't want to dumb things down, but he wants to make things understandable and accessible," he praised the producer. "And we don't think about things like that. I just think about how I'm feeling at any particular moment or what I want to express musically. So I think he took this music and really magnified it bigger than it ever could have been before."

Of the studio session, Adam said, "It was a really long process. Some people can go in and bang out a record in a month, and that's a totally valid process. But for some reason I want to make sure no stone goes unturned and every single possible idea is brought to the foreground. That's just how we like to do things."

A single called "Misery" is described as "the most Maroon 5-sounding song on the album." Another track "Out of Goodbyes" has country vibe with Lady Antebellum featured on it. A '60s pop-flavored song "Stutter" is promised to be different unlike anything they have recorded before.

The tracklisting is still being determined, but MTV Europe have obtained a list of songs which possibly make the cut to the record.
