'Sex and the City 2' Soundtrack Includes 'Single Ladies' and 'Empire State of Mind'

Liza Minnelli does the cover version for the song by Beyonce Knowles, joined by Sarah Jessica Parker and her co-stars who sing 'I Am Woman' from Helen Reddy.

Soundtrack listing for "" has been unveiled and the names of some cast members are mentioned among the list. , , and who play the major characters will cover "I Am Woman" from Helen Reddy.

' "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" also makes it into the record, but it will be performed by . The 64-year-old actress/singer is likely to be seen singing the song during Stanford Blatch and Anthony Marantino's gay wedding like it has been widely reported.

Additionally, two songs from , which are "Rapture" and "Empire State of Mind (Part II) Broken Down", will be heard during the course of the film. and also support the movie with their duet of "Love Is Your Color".

's song "Window Seat", which music video recently sparked controversy because she filmed the nude scene without a permit from authorities, is also included in the soundtrack album. Moreover, the movie will use 's "Everything to Lose" in some particular moment.

Those songs, added with other ten singles, are featured in "Sex and the City 2" soundtrack record which will be made available for purchase in U.S. stores starting May 25, or two days before the film hits U.S. cinemas. The drama comedy itself will take place two years after the end of 2008 "" and see Carrie Bradshaw and her friends having a trip in Abu Dhabi.
