AceShowbiz - Following the cancellation of her remix album "Angels Advocate", Mariah Carey has begun cooking up completely new materials for her next effort. She gave fans update on Twitter by posting a picture of her alongside Jermaine Dupri in the studio.

Along with the photo, the 40-year-old songstress wrote, "To all the Lambs in the land..Finally!!!Me& Jermash are in his studio reliving the splendor working on new ish 4." In another post, she shared, "This song is coming out quite nice I must say: ) LYM."

Beside taking it to the micro-blogging site, Mariah also hosted a live chat on Ustream to reveal other detailed info about the album. The "We Belong Together" hitmaker said she writes the new songs herself and also tags Bryan-Michael Cox for the production process.

Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox are two of the producers who helped Mariah Carey making her chart-busting albums "Charmbracelet", "The Emancipation of Mimi" and "E=MC²". This will become their first reunion with her since they were absent in the production of her 2009 album "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel".
