Beside confirming that she will travel around the world with 'Oprah's Next Chapter', Oprah will launch a talent search with 'Your Own Show: Oprah's Search for the Next TV Star'.

AceShowbiz - Oprah Winfrey officially announced her new venture which will take her to places around the globe. Called "Oprah's Next Chapter", the night show is Oprah's attempt to get out of the chair and present a "good TV that doesn't waste people's time."

"For years I've said to the producers, 'Just get me out of the chairs'," Oprah said in an interview with Wall Street Journal on a flight to North Carolina to interview Rielle Hunter. "The next chapter for me is releasing myself from the studio and being tethered to those chairs."

She elaborated further, "Whether that's the pyramids in Egypt or Afghanistan or Greece or the Congo or Rwanda, wherever that is, it allows me to be able to see the world. I've never been to Egypt, never been to China. Never been to any part of Asia, never been, because I'm always working." However, Oprah will not always be in another sphere. "Sometimes I'll just do it from my front yard. I have a very nice front yard," she said.

A collaboration of Harpo Inc. and Discovery Communications Inc., "Oprah's Next Chapter" is expected to be premiered on OWN late next year. At the same time, Oprah has also announced four other new original series in addition to the 10 announced previously. Oprah's BFF Gayle King will get a daily talk show called "Gayle King Live!".

A coverage of people who influence the pop culture such as Lady GaGa and James Cameron will be packed in "Visionaries: Inside the Creative Mind". Country crooner Shania Twain takes center stage in "Why Not? With Shania Twain" which follows her life after the marriage break-up. Oprah will be on hand in a reality show called "Your Own Show: Oprah's Search for the Next TV Star" which is produced by Mark Burnett.
