In the PSA, the 'Glee' star thinks people wearing fur coat look ugly and many do not realize that.

AceShowbiz - Lea Michele is standing behind PETA in campaigning against the use of fur. The vegetarian stars in the organization's PSA with her dog Sailor which was rescued from shelters, informing people that fur industry is still going on and many animals including dogs and cats have suffered from it.

In the PSA which is called "If You Wouldn't Wear Your Dog, Please Don't Wear Any Fur", Michele explained, "Everyone wants to fit in and feel like they belong. But sometimes you have to take a stand and step away from the crowd. ...With so many fashionable, cruelty-free options available, there's really no excuse for joining a club that wears someone else's coat."

She added later, "Animals used for fur - including dogs and cats- suffer horrible deaths because some people think it's OK to make a coat out of them." PETA is fighting for the rights of animals in China where fur export is largest.

She also talked about one dog and two cats that she found while filming "Glee". The dog was given to her co-star while the two cats fell under her care. She encouraged people to do whatever they can do to help PETA's cause by logging in to the official website and find out how they can contribute.
