Beside claiming that Lady GaGa and Ke$ha are not original, M.I.A. also shared she was lucky for not singing soundtrack for the vampire movie series.

is not a fan of dance music singers and as well as popular vampire movie series "". First, she said that she is not happy when being compared to GaGa, saying the "Poker Face" singer's music is not original enough.

"People say we're similar, that we both mix all these things in the pot and spit them out differently, but she spits it out exactly the same!" she told NME. "None of her music's reflective of how weird she wants to be or thinks she is. She models herself on and , but the music sounds like 20-year-old Ibiza music, you know? She's not progressive, but she's a good mimic."

"She sounds more like me than I f**king do! That's a talent and she's got a great team behind her, but she's the industry last's stab at making itself important - saying, 'You need our money behind you, the endorsements, the stadiums' Respect to her, she's keeping a hundred thousand people in work, but my belief is: Do It Yourself."

M.I.A. also blasted "Telephone" music video when quizzed about the necessity of record label, stating "Lady GaGa plugs 15 things in her new video. Dude, she even plugs a burger! That's probably how they're making money right now - buying up the burger joint, putting the burger in a music video and making loads of burger money."

When answering question about reality singing competitions like "" and "", she took aim at another colleague, Ke$ha. "I'm so bored by it already, people need to get over it. X Factor s**t's irrelevant. I'm more concerned by how someone like Ke$ha can so blatantly copy Uffie. Everyone's fine with it. Not a f**king lawsuit in sight," she lashed out.

Her last harsh criticism was addressed to -starring movie "Twilight". She stated, "They asked me [to do the soundtrack]. Luckily Jimmy [Iovine, chairmen of M.I.A.'s U.S. label Interscope] had beef with the 'Twilight' people, so he stepped in and told them to f**k off."
