The recording company's boss L.A. Reid reportedly will produce Jennifer Lopez's next studio installment 'Love?'.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez confirmed rumor that she sealed a record deal with Island Def Jam. The singer spoke to HitFix during an interview on Monday, March 29 for her upcoming movie "The Back-Up Plan".

J-Lo reportedly smiled and said yes, not once, but twice when asked about the rumor. Details on the finalized deal are still unclear, but it is reported that the label's boss L.A. Reid does not only sign her but also serves as producer for her upcoming studio album "Love?".

Jennifer Lopez decided to leave Sony Music Epic Group after having a "heart-to-heart" conversation with Chairman Rob Stringer at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills during the Grammys week. She was then forced to deny report mentioning her new album is in jeopardy following the split, insisting the record "is slated for release in the summer of 2010."
