The new sneak peek video from Disney's 'The Sorcerer's Apprentice' shows a lot of fresh footage as the sorcerer's apprentice has learned the science of magic and begun practicing it.

AceShowbiz - Walt Disney Pictures has released an international trailer for "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" in anticipation to its summer release. Making its way out via Yahoo! Taiwan, the video is packed with more thrilling scenes than the first trailer since the new one highlights Jay Baruchel who has started mastering magical practices and applying them.

Nicolas Cage's Balthazar Blake is a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan who is trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath. As he cannot do it alone, he recruits Baruchel's Dave, a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as his reluctant protege. Dave then has to get through an uneasy way to learn the art and science behind the sorcerer's magic.

Coming from the man behind 2004 "National Treasure" and its 2007 sequel, "National Treasure: Book of Secrets", Jon Turteltaub, "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" additionally has Monica Bellucci, Teresa Palmer, Alfred Molina and Toby Kebbell in the cast ensemble. Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, this drama fantasy is set to be released in theaters across the U.S. on July 16.
