During his first interviews since November 2009 accident, Tiger Woods shows his regret about his affairs with a series of women, saying 'I tried to stop and I couldn't stop.'

AceShowbiz - Tiger Woods has finally made his first interviews since his car crash on November 27, 2009. Making decision to answer questions from reporters, the professional golfer has conducted two separate five-minute interviews for the Golf Channel and ESPN on Sunday, March 21.

Talking about his adultery which allegedly involves a string of mistresses, Woods told Kelly Tilghman of the Golf Channel, "I tried to stop and I couldn't stop. And it was just, it was horrific." He continued, "It was hurtful, but then again, you know what? I did it. And I'm the one who did those things."

"And looking back on it now, with a more clear head, I get it. I can understand why people would say those things. Because you know what? It was disgusting behavior," the father of two further stated. "It's hard to believe that was me, looking back on it now."

Meanwhile, during his interview with reporter Tom Rinaldi of ESPN, Woods refused to detail the November 27 car crash and what specifically he was treated for when he was said entering a sex rehab facility in Arizona in late 2009, stating that it is "a private matter". Moreover, he showed the same regret about his past deeds, saying "I owed a lot of people an apology... my friends, my colleagues, my wife [Elin Nordegren], the public, kids who looked up to me."

"People I had to talk and face like my wife and my mom. I've hurt them the most. Those are the two people in my life that I'm the closest to and to say the things that I have done truthfully to them ... was very painful," he said. And when asked about the depth of his infidelity, Woods claimed, "Well, just one is enough. And obviously that wasn't the case, and I've made my mistakes."

Woods, who said the only reason he married Nordegren is because he loved her with everything he had, moreover opened up that he and his wife are working on their marriage. He explained, "We're working on it and it's a process that will remain private between her and I ."
