The veteran actress was recently promoted to be a regular on the first sitcom originally produced by TV Land.

AceShowbiz - Betty White is not only hot in the market but also "Hot in Cleveland". Fresh from accepting a hosting job on "Saturday Night Live", the 88-year-old actress is promoted to be a regular in the first original sitcom by TV Land.

The first clip from the series has been released and it shows White as a caretaker who comes with renting a house. As the character, White makes jokes about escaping from the Nazi and that it was the least thing she was worried about.

White's appearance was intended to be in pilot only but since her star meter went rising after the Super Bowl ad this February and her cameo in the pilot was deemed impressive, the executive producers have decided to make her a regular part of the show.

"Hot in Cleveland" will be premiered in June for a 10-episode season, starring also comediennes Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, and Wendie Malick. Written by Emmy Award winner Suzanne Martin, the show is about three best friends from L.A. who accidentally are stranded in Cleveland, Ohio on their way to Paris. They found a new 'promised land' in the city, and decided to rent a house together.
