'Alice in Wonderland' Still Rules Box Office

Matt Damon-starring war drama 'Green Zone' is not able to topline 'Alice in Wonderland' though the domestic revenue gained by the adventure movie is 46 percent less than its last week cume.

"" has no equal competitor to push it aside from the top position at North American Box Office. In its second week, the adventure movie still becomes the champion at the chart though it has dropped about 46% in ticket sales.

The Tim Burton-directed movie that applies 3-D technology to attract audience rakes in $62.7 million on its second weekend, making a total of $209.3 million domestic gross so far. The amount has covered the production budget of $200 million.

Some of the following spots belong to newcomers. "", which sees another collaboration from "Bourne" star and director Paul Greengrass, has become the runner-up with an approximately $14.3 million cume. Meanwhile, "" steals the third place from former Box Office winner "" with $9.8 million tally. The -starring thriller is now forced to drop two positions to the fifth, with an additional $8.1 million.

"", which has "" actor starring as the major character, surprisingly does not soar high at the chart. The Summit Entertainment's drama only pulls in $8 million on its debut weekend, making it nab the fourth spot. Another newcomer which manages to enter the chart is "" which sits on the sixth place with $7.6 million revenue.
