2010 Oscars: 'Star Trek' Wins Best Achievement in Makeup

In addition to unveiling the winner of Best Makeup, the awards show has already announced the winners for Live Action Short Film, Best Animated Short Film and Best Documentary Short Subject.

AceShowbiz - The 82nd Annual Academy Awards continues handing out its statuettes and "Star Trek" gets the honor to take one of them. This sci-fi is presented with Best Achievement in Makeup kudo, thanks to Barney Burman, Mindy Hall and Joel Harlo. Presenting the award is Ben Stiller who dressed as a Na'vi although "Avatar" was not nominated for the category.

Prior to "Star Trek", the awards show has honored several short films. "The New Tenants" is chosen as Live Action Short Film, while "Logorama" gets its prize from Best Animated Short Film category. Meanwhile, Best Documentary Short Subject kudo goes to "Music by Prudence".

The 2010 Academy Awards is currently held at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles and is hosted by Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin. More winners are going to be announced with the likes of Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Zac Efron tapped to be presenters.
