Adam Lambert Booked for 'American Idol' Performance

The runner-up of 'American Idol' season eight shares his excitement concerning the upcoming performance on his Twitter page.

AceShowbiz - Adam Lambert follows the footsteps of Kris Allen and Allison Iraheta to return to "American Idol" stage. The show's eighth season alum himself has confirmed that he is going to sing in an upcoming episode of the popular reality singing competition.

"Yes, I have been booked on Idol!" Adam shared to his followers on Twitter Friday night, February 26. Saying that he is excited to come back to the talent show, the singer however stated, "Can't reveal the date yet but it's a ways off."

Beside announcing his upcoming performance, Adam Lambert also praised Kris Allen and Allison Iraheta's Thursday appearances on the result show, writing "Kris and Allison were awesome last night." Kris sang a rendition of The Beatles' "Let It Be" and shared his recent trip to Haiti, while Allison delivered her second single "Scars".
