AceShowbiz - Hilary Duff is now an engaged woman for her boyfriend of two years Mike Comrie popped the question during their vacation in Hawaii. The former teen star's representative has confirmed to several media that the couple is excited to share the news.
"Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie were engaged this weekend while vacationing in Hawaii," rep Nanci Ryder told Us Magazine on Friday, February 19. "After having been together for over two years, they are very excited to share this happy news. They are thankful for all of your warm wishes."
Mike Comrie is a hockey player for New York Islanders before Edmonton Oilers. He began dating Hilary Duff in 2007 and she frequently attended his games. He bought the actress a Mercedes-Benz G-class SUV on her 20th birthday.
Speaking of her beau last year, Duff said, "He's a great guy. I've never met anyone who could say a bad word about him. He's generous, caring, funny. We just laugh our heads off, which I need in my life. ...He's unique. I wouldn't want to be with someone who wasn't unique."
