AceShowbiz - "Contagion" has been started with a strong line-up. The project which will be directed by Steven Soderbergh has attracted the likes of Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Marion Cotillard to join the cast ensemble. The four actors have all sealed deals to star in this sci-fi thriller.
The script is penned by "The Bourne Ultimatum" and "The Informant!" writer Scott Z. Burns, and it reportedly tells the story that takes place over four continents and is "terrifying." Participant Productions will co-finance the upcoming action movie, which eyes a fall start.
As Steven Soderbergh is now moving forward with "Contagion", he has to put aside his other project, the untitled Liberace project. The film is now planned to take principal photography after "Contagion" in early 2011 with Michael Douglas and Matt Damon still attached to play.
