Kanye West is absent to accept the award he shares with Jay-Z and Rihanna but is given a shout out by Jay-Z and called a genius by him.

AceShowbiz - One more coveted prize is revealed at the Sunday, January 31 celebration of 2010 Grammy Awards. Jay-Z wins Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "Run This Town", his joint track with Rihanna and Kanye West. The announcement is made by Placido Domingo and Mos Def.

The rap mogul went onto the stage with Rihanna and Solange Knowles' son. While Jay-Z thanks the "genius that is Kanye West," who is nowhere to be seen during the telecast, Rihanna turns to Jigga for her thank-you speech.

After Wyclef Jean comes out to remind audience the importance of taking part in the Haitian Relief effort, Mary J. Blige takes the mic for a charity single. She makes a duet with Andrea Bocelli, singing a touching rendition of "Bridge Over Troubled Water".

Afterwards, the winner Best Female Pop Vocal Performance is announced by Ricky Martin and "Glee" star Lea Michele. The title is given to Beyonce Knowles, giving her a total of six nods out of the 10 nominations she received. In this category, she wins over Katy Perry, Pink, Taylor Swift and Adele.
