While Jennifer Hudson was honoring Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige was saluting P. Diddy and Jazmine Sullivan was praising Queen Latifah.

AceShowbiz - During the 3rd Annual BET Honors event Saturday, January 16, Jennifer Hudson took the stage to salute her senior Whitney Houston. The "American Idol" alum who wore black gown performed Whitney's "I Will Always Love You".

Whitney donned a two-toned brown sequined dress for the event. She was handed this year's Entertainment Award presented by fellow singer/songwriter Ne-Yo. "It is so nice to not simply be judged," she commented when collecting the prize.

Another performer was Jazmine Sullivan. She showcased her rendition of "Unforgettable" and "Rock Steady" for Queen Latifah. Moreover, there was also Mary J. Blige honoring her mentor and friend P. Diddy who received Entrepreneur Award. She delivered a medley of his hit singles such as "I Love You" and "Be Happy".

Stevie Wonder teamed up with Trey Songz on "I Invented Sex". Also, they presented their duet performance on "Wake Up Everybody" with a special guest from India.Arie to Teddy Pendergrass. Maxwell then closed the show with "Fistful of Tears" and "Bad Habits", both of which are taken from his Grammy-nominated album "BLACKsummers'night".

2010 BET Honors was taped at the W hotel near the White House and will be aired on BET next month on date 1.
