Ke$ha's chart-topping single 'Tik Tok' sells 610,000 units, becoming the second-highest weekly sum behind Florida's 'Right Round'.

AceShowbiz - Gaining a benefit from post-holiday online shoppers, Ke$ha has broken a record on Billboard chart. Her debut single "Tik Tok", which is currently sitting at No. 1 on Hot 100, has sold over 610,000 copies in digital purchase, becoming the most downloaded single in a one-week period for a female artist.

The record was previously held by Lady GaGa. Exactly one year ago, the dance queen set a new record with her single "Just Dance" which pulled in 419,000 copies in the digital sale.

In addition, the number also places "Tik Tok" right behind Flo Rida's "Right Round" as the second-best weekly sum overall. The rapper tops the list with his single "Right Round" which coincidentally has Ke$ha's vocals on the hook. The song garnered around 636,000 copies on the chart dated Feb. 28, 2009.

Though she is featured in the track, Ke$ha is not credited. Thus, she received "no payment for her work." Commenting on that matter, she told The New York Times, "You have to be patient, you have to do things right. If you want to be a legitimate artist, it's more important what you say no to. I knew he would want me to be some sexpot, shake my booty and whatever."
