The actor revealed to Latino Review's columnist that he thought reprising B.A. Baracus is just something that he is not interested in.

AceShowbiz - Mr. T who popularized B.A. Baracus in the classic TV series "The A-Team" will not visit the remake which will hit theaters next year. George 'El Guapo' Roush from Latino Review said that he personally asked the 57-year-old actor whether he would make a cameo in "The A-Team" and he said no.
The reason is not based on money but according to Roush, "He said it just wouldn't be right for him to be in it." Mr. T believe that the role does not have a major feature in the film and therefore him making a cameo and being included in the promotion will make the wrong impression that he would be a big piece of the film.
"He told me he has nothing against the cast or even the fact that they're doing a remake. But a cameo is just something he wasn't interested in. He said he's very happy with his life right now and enjoys giving back to the community," Roush said in his report.
The new B.A. Baracus is given to former UFC world lightweight champion Quinton Jackson aka Rampage Jackson. He joins Liam Neeson who plays Colonel John "Hannibal" Smith, Bradley Cooper who is set as Lt. Templeton "Faceman" Peck and Sharlto Copley who tackles H. M. "Howling Mad" Murdock. Together this band of Iraq vets are wanted by the U.S. military for a crime they didn't commit. Their adventures combine helping the innocent while running from the law. 20th Century Fox will release it in U.S. on June 11, 2010.
