The finale was kicked off with the final three singing U2's "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For". Voices of Lee then belted out Ben King's "Stand by Me", Beelzebubs tackled Black Eyed Peas' "Where Is the Love?" and Nota sang Bill Withers' "Lean on Me".

The second round saw the groups singing as the backing vocal of celebrities. Natasha Bedingfield teamed up with Voices of Lee to sing "Pocket Full of Sunshine". Beelzebubs sang with Nicole Scherzinger on "You Don't Own Me" while Nota harmonized with Smokey Robinson on "The Tracks of My Tears". Voices of Lee was eliminated after this round.

The final two then each collaborated with judge Ben Folds on the same song, "Why Can't We Be Friends?". After that, the show allowed audience to pick their favorite through voting. Upon being announced as the winner, Nota sang one more time being accompanied by Jay Sean on his hit "Down".

The show which is hosted by Nick Lachey searched for a cappella group from all over the United States to throw their guts on national television without lip-sync. "There is nowhere to hide when you're doing an a cappella song," Lachey previously said. "There's no band behind you and dubbing. It's just you." NBC has not announced whether there will be a second season to the competition.
