Movie

Revealing the idea is helmer Todd Phillips who claims he wants to regain the athlete's image.

AceShowbiz - Following rumors that continue discrediting Tiger Woods, Todd Phillips has revealed he wants the golf player to star in "The Hangover 2" for the sake of rebuilding his image. "We are going to try and get Tiger Woods for the second one...Yeah help him regain his image," the helmer told Hollyscoop while promoting "The Hangover" DVD release in Las Vegas.

Claiming comedy is the best cure for anything, even scandals, Todd noted how Mike Tyson loved to be involved in the first movie. "Mike loved doing 'The Hangover' because he loved f***ing with the image people had of him. He knew we were not making fun of him but of the image people projected on him," he said.

Though Todd may sound joking, at least two stars have shown their supports for the director's idea. "If Todd says it thus will happen...might happen, you never know. I'm going to talk to him about it," the depicter of Doug, Justin Bartha, said. Actress Heather Graham additionally chimed in, "That would be so hilarious. Sounds brilliant."

During the interview, Todd also told Hollyscoop that he is currently writing the script for the sequel and the production is planned to be kicked off in summer 2010. "We are writing it right now, it's not coming out for a bit. We want to shoot it over the summer," he explained.

As of late, there has been rumor that "The Hangover 2" will take place in Thailand. Lead actors Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, and Ed Helms, in the meantime, are all expected to reprise their roles in the second film.
