USA Network gives its green light for the continuation of con man-detective collaboration in catching criminals.

AceShowbiz - Being a solid performer since its debut in late October this year, "White Collar" is given a vote of confidence by USA Network. Executive Producer slash creator Jeff Eastin confirmed that the show has received the second season order, writing on Twitter "White Collar season 2 pickup is official! Congratulations to the best cast and crew on television."
USA itself has confirmed the pickup, releasing a statement through its original programing president, Jeff Wachtel. "Jeff Eastin created a show that was both on-brand and that arguably took USA Network to a new level of sophistication. After breaking out of the gate so strongly, and with finale ratings that actually exceeded the premiere, 'White Collar' was a lock for a second season," Wachtel said.
There is actually no number mentioned about how many episodes are in the order and when the second season is going to premiere. The first season, consisting of 14 episodes, is taking a holiday break to return on January 19.
The show is starring Matthew Bomer aka Bryce on "Chuck". He plays a con-man named Neal Caffrey who has been playing cat-and-mouse for years with Agent Peter Burke (Tim DeKay). Upon being caught again, Neal makes a pact with Peter to give clues on catching other criminals. The show performed with an average of 5.55 million viewers.
