TV

Although his role on the NBC comedy is not disclosed, the comedian will be joined by another actor who had worked with him before.

AceShowbiz - Jack Black is again crossing the bridge to television world by guest starring on "Community". The feature film actor has once made a cameo in another NBC show "The Office", playing an actor along with Jessica Alba and Cloris Leachman in a pirated movie that Andy downloaded.

In "Community", Zap2It said that Black's appearance on the half-hour comedy is scheduled for January premiere. No further detail was released regarding his role but Zap2It noted that another high profile film actor is also slated to pop up in the same episode and he is Black's co-star in one of his projects.

"Community" follows a lawyer whose degree has been revoked and thus has to enroll in Greendale Community College. He befriends a band of misfits including an old man who wants to keep his brain active, a divorce mother and high-school losers. It was premiered in Fall and will air the new episodes again starting January 7.

Beside providing voice for "Kung Fu Panda" sequel, Jack Black has another animation project that he will produce. Still untitled, the new pitch is centered in the world of cryptozoology where legendary creatures like the Loch Ness Monster and Bigfoot are searched.
