AceShowbiz - In the wake of news that Tom Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchen have welcomed a baby boy, the football player's then-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan has sent them her best wishes. "I wish [Tom and Gisele] the best with their baby," People quotes the model-actress as stating.
She continues, "I'm sure my son will enjoy having a half-sibling," when referring to her 2-year-old son John Edward Thomas Moynahan, whom she has with Tom. "I ask the press to respect our privacy while we are welcoming this new addition to our extended family."
Bridget Moynahan had been dating Tom Brady for about two years when they called it quits back in December 2006. Their son John Edward Thomas Moynahan was born in August the following year.
On Wednesday, December 9, Tom shared with the press that his wife Gisele Bundchen, with whom he tied the knot in February this year, has given birth to a baby boy on Tuesday night, December 8. "Everyone's great. I didn't get much sleep," so he told reporters, adding that he and Gisele have not yet picked a name for their newborn son.
