'Youth in Revolt' Gets Red Band Trailer
Movie

A high school student creates his alter ego and does rebellious things just to win the girl of his dream in the comedy movie.

AceShowbiz - Dimension Films has shared another sneak peek at "Youth in Revolt" by releasing an age-restricted trailer. Though there are not many raunchy actions, there are quite a lot of R-rated jokes in the clip. The snippet, additionally, gives a look at the silly things done by Nicholas "Nick" Twisp to win the heart of a girl.

Nick is a high school student who goes on a quest to lose his virginity after his parents' break-up. When meeting Sheeni Saunders on a family vacation, he is attracted to her. Unfortunately, Sheeni doesn't see him as a boyfriend material. Unwilling to give up easily, Nick creates a "supplementary persona" named Francois Dillinger in an attempt to win her heart and gain a sexual relationship with her. While he is working hard to impress her, Sheeni does almost everything under the sun to make his attempts fail.

Adapted from C.D. Payne's novel of the same name, "Youth in Revolt" has Michael Cera taking the major role with Portia Doubleday playing his on-screen love interest. Also starring in the movie as supporting roles are Steve Buscemi, Jean Smart, Ray Liotta, Zach Galifianakis, and Justin Long. This film is scheduled to invade U.S. theaters on January 8, 2010.
