AceShowbiz - After releasing an international trailer, "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief" has provided another sneak peek to the movie by debuting a new trailer. Beside giving a look at more never-before-seen scenes of the film, the video also highlights Percy Jackson who gets help from his friends in his adventure.

Percy is a normal 12-year-old student who discovers that he is the demigod son of the Greek god, Poseidon. He later learns that the legendary beings of Greek mythology still exist in Mount Olympus which is located on the mythical 600th floor of the Empire State Building.

Being one of the "Big Three" children, he is frequently put under attack by monsters. Along with some friends, he goes on an adventure of a lifetime as he embarks on a journey across modern-day America to save his mother, return Zeus' stolen lightning bolt, and prevent a war between the gods.

Set in the 21st century, "Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief" is directed by Chris Columbus, the man behind the first three "Harry Potter" films. Logan Lerman takes the leading role as Percy Jackson. Joining him in the cast ensemble are Uma Thurman as Medusa, Pierce Brosnan as Chiron, trainer of heroes, and Rosario Dawson as Persephone, Goddess of Springtime. The film will hit U.S. theaters on February 12, 2010.
